1. What types of items can I place in my garbage collection containers?

The only items you can place in your automated garbage collection containers are household garbage.

2. What kinds of things should not be placed in my garbage collection containers?

Items that should not be placed in the containers include:

• Large quantities of dirt, sod, or rock
• Large appliances or furniture
• Flammable materials such as oil, gas, paint, concrete, hot ashes, construction debris, remodeling waste, demolition waste, or yard waste

3. What happens if I need another container or my garbage container is damaged, misplaced, or stolen?

If a customer requires more than one 96-gallon container, an additional container will be provided for an additional monthly cost.

If a container is damaged, misplaced, or stolen, the cost to replace the container is $50.

4. Can I use my old trash container? Do I have to use the new one?

The automated trucks will pick up only the new containers. Your old trash cans cannot be used.

5. How often will my container be picked up?

Trash containers will be picked up once per week.

6. Can I write my name or address on my trash container?

No, please do not write on the containers.
